Gosh! It's 12.30 am in the morning and I'm still not asleep! What am I? An owl? I most definitely resent that, thank you very much.
I'm just adding this out of curiosity: If the new ustaz has really become a member of the madrasah staff, how come he never shows up during assembly at 8.30am? If he really is the new imam of the mosque, why is it that he isn't at the assembly ground to lead the bacaan Al-Fatihah and whatever else? I have my doubts about this ustaz, because he will be teaching my class tafsir from the 3rd week of March onwards. I need to know that he's credible, because we are talking about the Quran here, not just any other book. Words of God. He needs to be credible and reliable if he is to teach us the meaning of the contents. Also, I foresee that he will be teaching us Arabic. Of course, no doubt that the fact that he was from Al-Azhar University makes him a professional, but you know, there mighteth be something else attached to it which we mighteth ne'er know. In any case, I'm willing to give him a chance, because, after all, he is only in his mid-20s, and perhaps just starting to learn the ropes of being an ustaz tafsir and bahasa arab. We'll give him time. I promise.
I have not done my GP research on Monaco and Switzerland, so I'm prepared to be slaughtered tomorrow by Ms Sabariah. And I haven't completed tons of other homework, which means that I have to be bo-chap about it. Don't care la. Only Week 5, 5 more weeks to go. Way to go, Sharkie! Do this more often and no university would want you.
Eek, talking about university makes me feel really old. Like I'm a few more years away from working life, and though I plan to retire from studying in 3 years, I don't want to start work so soon. I'll just put up with myself. Ha!
I miss my St. John mates from the various schools all of a sudden. We haven't seen each other since eons ago! I wanna see them! Abbas! Sufyan! Zailan! Rohaidah! Afzal! And my National Camp friend, Indra! You Gurkha! I miss you like hell ah!!!!!
