If yoou had read the newspaper on Monday, February 12, in the Home section, you would have realised this big and bold caption: "EXPANDED CURRICULUM: JC STUDENTS COPING WELL". It's kind of funny how laymen view this new change, cos obviously, as it is very evident and ubiquitous, JC STUDENTS ARE SO NOT COPING WELL. You show me a person who can earn A's for every subject, and multiply that by a 1000, then you can pass that judgement. However, as far as I'm concerned, that isn't the case here. In fact, I've been familiarised and conditioned by the moans and groans by my dear mates, and they are all struggling in one way or another. I'm not saying that going through this new curriculum would be a breeze, but hey, do you equate complains and yawns to doing well? I think not. So, let's revise what we have learnt so far:
1) It takes a lot of courage to go through the new curriculum. And, may I add, lots of stamina if a student takes a very heavy subject, say, History and Literature.
2) So, are you game enough?
Hahah..that was freaking random. But hey, I achieved my objective!
