As I hadn't expected, I did really well for my Malay paper. Ecstatic. Isyah and I were like, "Eh, are we really getting our own resuts slip and not somebody else?" Better still, "Is it a fluke?" I think not. We really did well, Isyah. And congratulations to FANA too! And Danial! Awesome, job well done, you guys.
I went to NUS for a History Seminar yesterday, and it was held at LT11, which was at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. It was a cool seminar, and I really enjoyed myself, what with the flappers of CJC and all that mime from AJ. Not bad, not bad. And the food was great, especially the chicken. Boneless. Yummy...Anyhoos, NUS is a pretty big campus, and it spans for kilometres, is it? But the buildings look kinda old, so maybe I shall reconsider my options uh. In order for me to make it to an overseas university, I need to get a scholarship. What I don't understand is, why should I work my butt off just to get a scholarship, when my sister was offered by my parents to study in Australia, and mind you, she didn't have a scholarship. No fair.
After the release of the A level results, I was more motivated to work my butt off just to see my name on the powerpoint slides. I really wanna do well, and do myself, as well as my parents proud. Speaking of which, I shouldn't even be blogging right now. Till then!
